SOMA’S PURPOSE
- Train clergy and lay leaders for cross-cultural mission.
- Equip leaders in overseas dioceses to minister through the transforming grace of the Holy Spirit
- Bring the faith of our overseas partners to strengthen the Church in the U.S. through Mission to the USA
- Disciple the next generation for mission
- Train intercessory prayer team members
- Embrace evangelism as an integral element of our mission and ministry
- Broaden the vision of who the Church is by establishing relationships with people in other parts of the world.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
SOMA USA ministers under the authority of the Anglican Church in North America, a participant in the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON). We abide by the principles of faith laid out in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds and the Jerusalem Declaration. We believe God’s Holy Word, the Bible, to be the inspired revelation of Himself and His plan of salvation for the world, containing everything necessary for salvation as followers of Jesus Christ.
