Researching Inner Healing For Youth

SOMA and the Christian Renewal Association (CRA) have a missional relationship that began in 1999. In 2007, our combined efforts successfully planted an inner healing ministry in the Diocese of the Rift Valley (DRV), Tanzania. Subsequent visits have always brought back reports of continued Kingdom fruit. Glory be to God and for His faithfulness!

In October 2022, the Holy Spirit provided inspiration to rewrite the manual initially created for adults (Restore Wholeness) and adapt it to English and Swahili for kids ages 5-12. On June 8th, a team will travel to the DRV and lead a pilot mission to test and complete the adaptation.  Each morning and late afternoon, the kids will experience teaching and ministry.  After each session, the team will debrief to make necessary modifications, including materials for leader training. After the adjustments are completed, the text will be published in Tanzania and available for other locations and cultures.

God willing, we will return to the DRV in September. This mission will facilitate the first "Restore Kids" trauma and inner healing ministry for 5000-6000 kids at a summer camp. Ultimately, we pray that the Restore Kids leader training and healing ministry will spread across Africa and beyond.
